Get your player prepped for the upcoming season with South Simcoe Hockey’s Body Contact Clinic. This program is built for players to build confidence while learning and improving their body contact skills. Body contact is a defensive tactic designed to legally separate the puck carrier from the puck.
We will cover various techniques in a safe and controlled environment such as:
- Positioning, angling, and timing when engaging an opponent
- Proper offensive and defensive stick work
- Keeping yourself alert by having your head on a swivel (in order to see the ice while protecting / moving / skating / receiving the puck)
Our 4 session program runs out of the IRC (Innisfil Recreation Complex) for $247.79 + HST ($280.00).
